The honeycomb activated carbon features a large specific surface area, well-developed micropores, and abundant hydroxyl and short-chain functional groups, enabling chemical adsorption and electrostatic attraction of various organic compounds. Polluted gas enters the activated carbon adsorption-desorption unit, where VOCs are first adsorbed and concentrated. The desorbed gas is then directed into the catalytic combustion chamber, where it is oxidized into CO₂ and H₂O. Waste heat from combustion is recycled for desorption. Heat exchangers preheat the gas, reducing energy consumption and removing moisture, while residual heat aids carbon regeneration.
