Life Encyclopedia: Factors Affecting the Effectiveness of Zero Liquid Discharge in the Production Wastewater of Sulfurizing Agents
Author:
In our daily lives, in addition to wastewater from sulfide production containing chemical substances, there are also more serious impurities in the sulfide production wastewater. When using sulfide production wastewater, what are the reasons affecting its effectiveness? The analysis is as follows.
1. In order to reduce costs, the chemicals used for wastewater classification have strong targeting. This leads to good treatment of various classified wastewater, but the comprehensive water treatment still fails to meet the standards.
2. A large amount of lime is used to clarify the water and reduce costs. However, a large amount of sludge is produced, and 30%-40% of the wastewater treatment cost is often generated from sludge treatment.
3. The influent pH value fluctuates greatly, and the pH control in the reaction tank is unstable. The unstable pH causes turbidity in the sedimentation tank. The effluent water quality is also unstable, sometimes good and sometimes bad.
4. Water treatment personnel lack a strong sense of responsibility, are not careful enough in operation, and do not pay attention to details. For example, if there is a problem with the influent water, the machine is not stopped in time for emergency treatment. Various instruments and probes are not regularly calibrated and cleaned. The concentration of the prepared chemicals is not prepared according to the process requirements. In order to save trouble, the concentration is increased privately.
5. Before surface treatment of products in the surface treatment industry, a large amount of pretreatment is required. The degreasing powder used in this process contains emulsifiers, and a large amount of emulsifiers not only affects the COD content but also affects the flocculation of flocs in the sedimentation tank, resulting in unsatisfactory sludge formation, poor sedimentation, and a large amount of suspended matter flowing out of the sedimentation tank with the upper clear water, re-dissolving into the water during pH adjustment, resulting in exceeding the standard of heavy metal ions at the discharge port.
